How to use message templates (snippets)

Save the replies you send again and again as snippets, then drop them into any message in two clicks.

Create a snippet #

  1. Conversations → Snippets

Open Conversations and click the Snippets tab at the top.

  2. + New Snippet

Choose a text snippet (for SMS and social messages) or an email snippet.

  3. Name and write it

Give it a clear name, such as “Prices for roof cleaning”, and write the message. Add custom values like the contact’s first name, so each message feels personal. Then save.

Use a snippet #

  1. Open the conversation

Choose the channel you want to reply on.

  2. Snippets icon

Click the snippets icon in the message box, search or browse, and pick a snippet.

  3. Check and send

The text appears in the box. Change anything you need for this customer, then send.

Good to know #

  • Text snippets and email snippets are separate, so create both if you use the same reply on both channels.
  • Use folders to keep snippets tidy, for example one per service.
  • Good snippets to start with: price list, opening hours, “on my way”, booking confirmation, and a thank you after the job.
  • Team members need permission to manage conversations to use snippets.
