Work through this list on your first day and Autopilot will be ready to answer, book and follow up with your customers.
Before you start #
- You need to be logged in as an Admin on your Autopilot account.
Steps #
-
Settings → Business Profile
Add your business name, phone number, email address and address, and check your time zone. Autopilot uses these details in messages to your customers.
-
Settings → Users
Add anyone who will answer enquiries or book jobs, so each person has their own login.
-
Settings → Phone System
Get your Autopilot phone number. This is the number your customers text and call.
-
Settings → Email Services
Set up email sending from your own domain, so your emails land in the inbox and not in spam.
-
Settings → Calendars
Set up your booking calendar and the hours you are available.
-
Settings → Import Data
Bring in your existing customer list from a spreadsheet, so Autopilot can send them reminders and offers.
-
Settings → Integrations
Connect your Google Business Profile so Autopilot can ask customers for reviews.
-
Get the mobile app
Install the LeadConnector app on your phone and log in with the same email and password.
Good to know #
- You do not have to finish everything at once. Steps 1 to 3 matter most, because they let Autopilot reply to new enquiries.
- Launchpad in the left menu has a setup guide that tracks your progress.
- Each step has its own detailed article in this help centre.
